(So no mixed ability situations!)

Lessons are two hours in length although these can be built up into a longer ride out.

Tuition is either on your own machine or on one of the hire bikes. Riders could also consider the Pass Plus option.

Prices will vary according to individual requirements.

Advanced Riding

The advanced course is the highest level of training that can be offered outside of police forces.

Riders are helped to achieve very high standards in all areas such as motorway, urban, country roads and machine control – through principles used by police riders.

All training is given on a guaranteed 1 to 1 basis by an advanced level instructor. The suggested programme is three 2 hour sessions to allow time for individual practice although sessions can be linked together for a longer ride out.

Riders can, if they wish, take an advanced test with the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM), BMF Rospa – most leading insurers offer a 20% discount to advanced riders every year.

ESTIMATE PRICES:
3 x 2 hour sessions and IAM Advanced riding book £209
2 hour session £69
3 hour session £89

Lady Riders

Whilst the majority of motorcyclists are men we have always had at least one female member of staff in the past and so feel that we can appreciate the problems faced by female riders.

The following can therefore be offered:

Low seat height machines for both 125cc and Direct Access training
Machines with electric start (no kickstarting)
Machines with good sidestands (no heavy lifting)
