The advanced course is the highest level of training that can be offered outside of police forces.

Riders are helped to achieve very high standards in all areas such as motorway, urban, country roads and machine control - through principles used by police riders.

All training is given on a guaranteed 1 to 1 basis by an advanced level instructor. The suggested programme is three 2 hour sessions to allow time for individual practice although sessions can be linked together for a longer ride out.

Riders can, if they wish, take an advanced test with the Institute of Advanced Motorists, BMF Rospa - most leading insurers offer a 20% discount to advanced riders every year.
